As an environmental scientist and surfer, staying at Waterview Motel Maclean was a mixed experience. the owner was friendly and accommodating, breakfast was tasty. noise from traffic and construction disrupted my sleep. Quality sleep is key to my work. Despite some hiccups, the stunning location and welcoming staff made up for it.

The rooms here are super spacious and comfy, and the bathroom is sparkling clean - plus, the beds are heavenly! A 10-minute stroll along the river to a yummy breakfast spot was a big highlight of our stay. the only downside was wishing for darker curtains in our room; light crept in a bit too early for our liking, but nothing major. 🏊🍔.

The room at Waterview Motel was incredibly clean and comfortable. The queen size bed was so cozy, and the flat screen TV was a nice bonus. The bathroom looked recently renovated, and the mini-bar was reasonably priced. The motel managers were also very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this motel for a comfortable overnight stay.
