The renovated house had everything we needed, including a warm gas heater for the chilly nights. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was good and there was a convenient pub bistro nearby. We especially appreciated the spacious room with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped tea/coffee station. a comfortable and convenient stay.

The location of the hotel is slightly away from the town center but still conveniently close to amenities. There is a great pub called Robin Hood within walking distance, perfect for grabbing a meal. Additionally, the beautiful botanic gardens are nearby, offering a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature. The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a well-heated air conditioning system. The bathroom facilities are also satisfactory and the hot showers are a great way to unwind after a long day.

Some noise disturbances from tradesmen coming and going in the early hours of the morning may disrupt sleep.

This hotel offers great value for money with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location is perfect, close to the centre of town as well as a great pub with delicious meals. The beautiful botanic gardens and nearby parks are also a bonus. The staff provide excellent service and the basic amenities in the rooms on level 1, including a comfortable bed and suitable cleanliness, ensure a pleasant stay. Additionally, having breakfast included adds to the convenience and overall positive experience.

Showers fab, beds cozy. Been visitin' for ages. Recent stay, felt like everything goin' topsy-turvy! Overcharged, rooms a mess. TVs on the blink, aircon bungled. Vending machine, took my dough but no drink! Needa up their game big time. Still, pool cool, nice chat with lady at front desk. Bit o' chaos, but hey, showers dun good, beds snug! We had a comfortable room with plenty of storage space to unpack our belongings. The bathroom had great water pressure and was very clean. The indoor pool area had nice chairs and lounges, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The friendly and helpful reception staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and firm pillows which we loved. the location was great, with ample parking and easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. the aircon and heating system worked perfectly, and the indoor pool looked inviting for a relaxing dip.

While we had a great time overall, there were a few downsides. the fridge was ancient and could be updated, and we missed having a microwave oven in the room.

We had a fantastic stay at this motor lodge. the staff were friendly and helpful, always keeping our room clean. the bathroom linen was changed daily, and everything was clean and fresh. Despite being close to a main road, it was surprisingly quiet. We felt right at home here. the location was convenient for visiting our relative and the nearby nursing home. We were also impressed with the comfortable rooms and the overall cleanliness of the property. Definitely recommend staying at this motor lodge.
