My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a week-long trip and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property's location was perfect for exploring the old town and palace. The rooms were large and comfortable, and the pool and spa were a perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was very good and the staff went above and beyond by opening breakfast early for us before our train in the morning. The friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel is also conveniently close to Salzburg Central Train Station, around a 15-minute stroll away. Being situated near the river adds to the charm of the surroundings.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in the heart of Salzburg for a few nights. The location was perfect, with easy access to the main attractions and just a short cab ride from the train station. Our suite-type room was spacious and comfortable, with an extra sleeping area in the loft and a private bathroom. The staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to assist me in finding the bus stop for Lake Konigssee. The afternoon tea provided each day was a delightful touch, and the breakfast staff were lovely and the food was delicious.

The breakfast was nice and it was offered for free. the hotel was located near the shopping street and that made my life a little bit easier. the staff was polite and accommodating. I appreciated the fact that they offered me a late check-out, so I didn't have to rush to leave.

The room was a huge disappointment. the carpets had a metallic edge that was a pain to walk on and the decor was a bit too dated.

Altstadthotel Wolf-Dietrich is a gem! The room was spacious with a separate lounge area and bedroom. As someone with physical handicaps, I was pleased to find a big, comfortable bed and well-insulated windows that kept street noise at bay. The CD player in the room and CD library in reception were a nice touch. The swimming pool, though small, was modern and the sauna facilities were great. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable.

As for the cons? Well, honestly, it felt like being home.
