The value for money at Via Roma was excellent. The room was spacious, well-furnished, and had great amenities like a fridge. The location was pleasant, with delicious restaurants along the way to Salzburg. The staff were helpful, pleasant, and made it easy for us to enter late at night.

It was easy to get to the Old Town and taxis came quickly. the staff was pleasant and the breakfast was good. the room had a nice bathtub, which was a pleasant surprise as most hotels in Austria don't have bathtubs. the location was quiet and a short bus ride or 20-minute walk into the city, making it a nice refuge from the crowds. the staff was very helpful and nice. the hotel is close to the Salzburg electric bus service, which is free with the Salzburg card available at the hotel. the car park at the rear of the property was good with some undercover spots sometimes available. the staff tried hard to please and there was a bar available until about 11 p.m. I would stay here again if traveling to Salzburg.

We arrived by train and found it very convenient to take the number 5 bus from the nearby train station to the hotel. the bus ride took about 15 minutes and saved us from walking in the heat. the hotel also has an excellent Italian restaurant below, where we enjoyed delicious meals at a great price. the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!
