The hotel is perfectly located right in the center of Bad Gastein, just off the main street, making it convenient for exploring the city. it is rather close to the ski lifts, ideal for winter sports enthusiasts. The rooms are spacious and interesting, with well-appointed bathrooms and unique furnishings such as antiques and wooden paneling. The staff is always pleasant and incredibly helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. the restaurant serves delicious meals, including a memorable New Year's Eve dinner.

The bed in the room was advertised as a "large double bed," but it turned out to be two single beds pushed together. The mattresses were thin, spring mattresses on a creaky wooden frame, causing discomfort and sore backs.

Spent Xmas at this historical hotel and enjoyed the stunning mountain view from our room. the personalized breakfast was a nice touch and the staff was friendly. the hotel's location made it easy to access various ski resorts and hiking trails in the area.

The hotel lacked basic amenities like in-room Wi-Fi and a working heating system. the room was ice-cold and we had to request extra blankets.
