this hostel surpassed all my expectations! after staying in other nice hostels in ghent, this one had the best location and view, right in the old city center. the staff were amazing and friendly, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the hostel had a cozy lounge area where i had interesting conversations with other guests.

Value for money was excellent! The room was fantastic with a breathtaking view, and the historic building added a pleasant surprise to the stay. The staff were always polite and ready to assist, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The breakfast offerings could be more varied to cater to all guests' preferences.

I had a wonderful stay at Hostel Uppelink in Ghent. I stayed there for a week during my sightseeing trip. The location was fantastic, with all the major sites visible from my window. The room was spacious and had lockers to store my valuables. The staff were friendly and there were beer tastings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which was a great way to meet other guests. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was a bar to buy drinks. The hostel also offered walking tours. The showers had powerful and hot water, and the toilets had paper towels and soap.
