I recently stayed at a charming guest house in a great location near the Markt in Bruges. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with local information and tips. The room overlooked a peaceful canal and was clean and spacious with a private bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, with a generous spread of breads and other goodies. The best part was the complimentary beers and cola in the fridge and snacks in the kitchen. We also appreciated being able to leave our bags after checkout. it was a cozy and welcoming experience.

The lack of soundproofing between rooms meant that noise from other guests could be heard. the floors were squeaky, which made it difficult to move around quietly.

Despite being close to the center, the street was surprisingly quiet.
