We had an amazing stay at a hotel in Liege. The Mercure hotel provided us with astonishingly good breakfast in a charming room that had a nice view of the river. The staff were very friendly, easygoing, and helpful, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The accommodation was good value for money, and we were able to park our car on-site. The hotel's reception area was impressive, creating a sense of relief as soon as we walked through the doors. it was a great experience and we would definitely come back if we're in the area again.

The lobby and outdoor area were really nice. We enjoyed playing pool on the pool table. the staff at the reception were helpful and accommodating, and they managed to change our room without any issues. the breakfast was amazing and had a great variety of options.

The location of the hotel wasn't ideal, with roadworks and a small bus terminal nearby that didn't feel safe to walk through. the surrounding area at the back of the hotel was dark, derelict, and had terrible pavements.

The hotel was located down a seemingly unsafe street, but it turned out to be a quiet and non-descript back street off the river. It was a nice walk to a good restaurant in the area. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and the breakfast had a variety of options, including a make-your-own omelette station and a waffle maker.

The lift was inconveniently located at the end of the hotel, making it a bit of a hassle to get to the rooms.

Climb Montagne de Beuren for a "wonderful" view of the city. Taste Belgian specialties in a 17th-century convent. Enjoy the "stunning" environment of the former convent's bar and restaurant.

Oh, and let's not forget the "amazing" experience of walking 20 minutes to the old town center. Such a joy!

The rooms are comfortable, with spacious bathrooms and excellent service from the friendly staff. The breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of choices, including both hot and cold options. Guests can also enjoy the beautiful internal garden and private parking facilities.
