I had a truly unique and memorable experience at Banana Bank Lodge & Jungle Horseback Adventures. The jungle atmosphere surrounding the lodge made me feel like I was in the middle of incredible Belize. The meals were fantastic, with a mix of ethnic and American cuisine served family-style, giving me the opportunity to meet and connect with other guests. The pool was a great place to relax and cool off after a day of adventures. I highly recommend this lodge for a one-of-a-kind Belizean experience.

The value for money at this hotel was great, and the room was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions, and the staff treated us like family.

The beautiful jungle setting and excellent staff made for a wonderful experience. Being able to walk through the jungle and enjoy the gorgeous scenery was a highlight. Additionally, the location near the river provided a picturesque view.

There were some concerns during the stay. the presence of large areas of deforestation in the surrounding area was a disappointment.

We had a fantastic time at this quirky jungle lodge. The clean rooms, delicious family-style meals, and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. The tailored horse rides, boat trip with a knowledgeable bird-watching guide, and upcoming museum tour were unique experiences that we loved. The beautiful pool, peacocks, jaguars, and monkeys added to the idyllic setting. It truly felt like a getaway in the middle of incredible Belize!

We had a great time on our romantic escape! the location of this hotel is perfect, nestled in the heart of the jungle. We loved being surrounded by the lush greenery and getting the chance to see horses grazing peacefully. the pool was a highlight, providing a tranquil oasis for us to relax and cool off in the hot weather. the staff were friendly and hospitable, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Plus, the food at the on-site restaurant was delicious and satisfying. We enjoyed every meal we had there, especially the dinner served in the grand dining hall with other guests.

The location of the hotel was great, nestled in the beautiful jungle. It offered a unique and adventurous experience. We enjoyed the opportunity to hike or ride horses and explore the jungle, river, and even the nearby Mayan ruins. the staff was excellent and provided wonderful service. Additionally, the lodging had a rustic charm with spacious huts that had unique thatched roofs and their own bathrooms.

There were a few negative aspects of our stay. the rooms felt a bit dated and could use some updating.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the grounds were beautiful. the location was secluded and peaceful, far away from the city. I also enjoyed the large swimming pool and the opportunity to see exotic birds on the property.

The distance from the city was inconvenient, especially if you didn't have a car. the presence of a captive jaguar and other animals made me uncomfortable, as I personally don't support zoos.

The horseback riding was a highlight, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely incredible and offered great value for money. The room accommodations were comparable to those in the USA, with all the amenities I needed. the cleanliness, facilities, location, and staff were top-notch.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel facilities, especially the pool, were great for cooling off in the Belize heat. The hotel also had a small zoo with exotic birds, a jaguar, and a monkey, which added to the overall charm of the property.

Gorgeous property beside river & in jungle. Free upgrade to beautiful cabana due to hurricane damage. Friendly staff, especially Kristela & Mario. Delicious homemade meals. Great base for exploring with horseback riding & birdwatching.

Mario, one of the staff members, went above and beyond as a tour guide, taking us to various sites and sharing his knowledge about the country. The lodge offered family dining, which was a great way to meet other travelers. The location of the lodge is beautiful, surrounded by nature and the sounds of birds and monkeys. The pool was a refreshing way to relax after a busy day of exploring. The price of the lodging was excellent, providing great value for the money.
