We had a fantastic Easter getaway at this hotel! The service was exceptional, with friendly and professional staff ensuring we had a great experience from start to finish. The location was ideal, offering a tranquil and peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We also loved the fact that the hotel had a beautiful view of the river and provided delicious food at the restaurant.

There were a couple of downsides to our stay. The room could use some updating and modernization, as it felt a bit outdated.

The hotel's location on the peaceful Belize river was a highlight, especially as we were looking for somewhere to reset our inner clocks. We loved sitting on the balcony and gazing at the tranquil river. The staff was also amazing - very attentive and helpful whenever we needed them. Lastly, the basic amenities were great, and we were pleasantly surprised by the very good shower pressure.

The grounds were well-maintained, and there were opportunities for activities such as cave tubing and visiting the baboon sanctuary. The restaurant served a delicious buffet breakfast, and the lunch and dinner menu was enticing. I particularly enjoyed the perfectly cooked whole Red snapper with jerk sauce and the light and fluffy fried jacks, which were a local specialty. As a family with kids, we found the resort to be a great place to start our vacation.
