The hotel had a prime beachfront location, which was a great advantage for us. We enjoyed easy access to the beach and beautiful views of the sea. the staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting us with tour arrangements and providing recommendations for dinner reservations. the villa we stayed in was spacious, clean, and well, appointed. It had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.

Our stay was disrupted by ongoing construction next door. the noise from the construction site was constant and started early in the morning, making it difficult to relax by the pool or enjoy a good sleep, in.

I had a fantastic stay at a beautiful property with amazing accommodations. The condos were gorgeous and well-appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploring. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the round-the-clock security guards made me feel safe and secure. The highlight of my stay was the sister property next door, which was absolutely stunning. The restaurant, Pier 366, served delicious Belizian breakfasts with fresh juice and offered breathtaking views of the water. For the price, Grand Colony is a steal, especially since guests have access to the sister property. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful vacation experience.

I did experience some issues during my stay. The beach area was not usable due to the overwhelming seaweed problem, which caused an intense smell.

The housekeeping is amazing! The place is spotless and the pool is well-maintained and surrounded by beautiful flowers. The kitchen is excellent, with top-of-the-line appliances and everything you need. The air conditioning and large ceiling fans provide great comfort. Nearby dining options and fantastic room service from the sister hotel. Perfect for a family with 2 small kids.

The sister property, Banyon Bay Resort, was a great addition with its amenities and complimentary taxi service. Hot showers, comfy beds, and attentive staff made for a pleasant stay.

We got incredible value for our money at Grand Colony Island Villas. The room was super functional for our family, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable amenities. The location was perfect, situated on the beach with enough distance from town to enjoy some peace and quiet, but close enough to easily explore at our own pace. The staff were amazing, assisting us with free bikes, kayaks, and paddleboards, and helping us book water excursions right on the beach. They even provided a complimentary taxi service to and from the airport, and the friendly security staff always helped us with taxis whenever we needed them.

The breakfast experience could have been better with more variety or additional options.

The spacious unit with a full kitchen was perfect for our needs. The staff was welcoming and extremely helpful, making us feel right at home. The location on the beach was fantastic, with gorgeous views from the large balcony. We never ran out of hot water and the beds were really comfortable. We also appreciated the signing privileges at a nearby resort. a great experience!

We had an awesome experience at Grand Colony Island Villas! The 3 bedroom villa suite was spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The resort had a huge pool and 24/7 security. It was close enough to town for shopping and dining, but far enough for peace and quiet. Renting a golf cart was a great way to explore the island. highly recommended!

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The housekeeping staff was wonderful, ensuring that the entire hotel was clean and well-maintained. The pool area was absolutely beautiful, with vibrant flowers and my favorite, Plumeria, surrounding it. The kitchen in the hotel was excellent, equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and everything we needed to cook our own meals. The air conditioning and large ceiling fans provided great comfort in the humid weather. The hotel even provided a washer and dryer in the room, making it very convenient for laundry.

In terms of the seaweed on the beach, there was loads of it and the smell was not pleasant. However, this did not dampen our overall experience at this hotel, and we would still recommend it to our family and friends.
