Just got back from a trip near San Ignacio, and I have to say, our hosts Tony and Juliet made our stay unforgettable! the cabins were comfy, clean, and had gorgeous hardwood floors. We loved starting our day with a delicious breakfast on the screened-in porch overlooking the stunning valley. Tony and Juliet were super helpful, providing us with local insights, arranging reliable transport for our tours, and sharing their famous hibiscus tea juice. the location was great, allowing us to easily explore the area on foot or with their assistance.

Access to the cabins can be a bit tricky without a 4WD vehicle with good clearance. It's a steep and rugged road leading up to the cabins, so be prepared for that.

Santa Cruz Cabins exceeded expectations with spacious, modern cabins offering comfy beds, efficient air conditioning, and beautiful local paintings. Hosts Juliet and Tony were incredibly welcoming, providing useful information and delicious home-cooked breakfasts delivered to the screened porch.

For our San Ignacio adventures, Santa Cruz Cabins provided the perfect base. We stayed for four nights and were met with exceptional hospitality from hosts Tony and Juliet. Their home-cooked breakfasts were a highlight, enjoyed on the hammock in the screened porch with stunning views. the cabins are well-equipped with all necessities and adorned with lovely local artwork. Convenient location, yet nestled in a jungle setting, making it convenient yet serene. Cons: Recommend this hotel.

We spent our Xmas holidays in a woodland retreat surrounded by nature. the location was secluded, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the town. the breakfast offered was exceptional, with locally sourced fresh fruit and juice and homemade dishes made on-site. the hosts were incredibly knowledgeable and provided us with useful information about the area and transportation.

Access to the retreat was a bit difficult as the roads were rugged, and it was necessary to drive up a steep incline. the cabin was comfortable and clean, but we could hear noise from the surrounding cabins easily.
