I enjoyed my stay in a cozy room with a pool view, featuring a private seating area perfect for coffee. The beach access was nice, though the seaweed made swimming less appealing. The staff helped arrange a snorkeling tour, which was a highlight. I found the location peaceful, away from the busy town. If you are not in a rush and can appreciate the moment, it's great. Needed a golf cart for transport, though. Visiting in 2023 was memorable.

after a stay in san pedro, i found hidden jewel boutique to truly exceed my expectations on this little getaway. the cozy king suite with pool view was perfect, featuring a comfortable sofa bed and a private seating area overlooking the pool. the meals were fantastic, with every dish, especially the lobster, leaving a memorable impression.

My experience at Hidden Jewel Boutique Hotel was incredibly disappointing. The air conditioning was turned off upon our arrival, which left our room uncomfortably warm and musty—this definitely ruined our first impression. On top of that, the lack of maid service was frustrating. we didn't receive it every day, and when we did, they barely replenished our supplies. The restaurant’s service was painfully slow, taking over two hours just for dinner with minimal patrons present. To make matters worse, the beach area was not well-maintained, covered in seaweed, making it uninviting for swimming. Overall, the long and bumpy road to get there was a final nail in the coffin of an already troublesome stay.

The staff took care of us at the restaurant and bar, and we loved the food and drinks. We even booked a snorkeling tour and a trip to explore the Maya Ruins, which the property helped set up. The pool was always clean, making it a great place to relax.

One downside was the road leading to the property, which wasn’t very well lit at night. It made getting back a bit tricky after dinner. Just keep that in mind!

The beach access was stunning, and I loved lounging by the beautiful outdoor swimming pool. Our Junior Suite with Garden View was impeccably clean and had a cozy ambiance that made it feel like home. Every meal at the onsite restaurant was a culinary delight. the lobster was particularly unforgettable!

However, there were several issues worth noting. Room 7 had a spring-loaded door that slammed frequently, causing disturbances throughout the day. Arriving to a hot and humid room that felt musty did not create a great first impression, and it took a while to cool down. The beach area had noticeable seaweed, unlike other nearby places that seemed better maintained. In addition, the restaurant service took an astonishingly long time—over two hours for a meal, even with just a few other diners present. Also, preparations like maid service felt inconsistent. we only received it on one of the three nights, which left us needing more clean towels and coffee pods. Finally, the road leading to the hotel was a bump-ridden mile that was tricky to navigate, particularly at night.

The location is right on the beach, with stunning ocean views 🌊. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! Offering free kayaks and a nice pool area makes it enjoyable. Rooms were well-kept and modern.
