The rooms were clean and comfortable with a charming vintage feel. Staff provided excellent dinner recommendations and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel's location was convenient to downtown and popular areas like Barrio Escalante.

This is where our Costa Rican adventure began! Hotel Aranjuez provided us with a beautiful and relaxing oasis in the middle of the city. Our room had a cozy sitting area next to the window, offering stunning views of tropical trees and flowers. The highlight of our stay was the delicious and fresh breakfast included with our room. The presentation was fantastic, and we even got to enjoy it in the gorgeous outdoor seating area, where we were visited by hummingbirds. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the connected restaurant was fantastic. The room was clean, comfortable, and had the luxury of hot water.

We loved the quirky, unique character of the hotel and Costa Rican art throughout. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Despite no A/C, showering at night with the ceiling fan on made the room comfortable. we recommend this hotel.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms were spacious, clean, and filled with authentic local decor, giving it a unique charm. The highlight of my stay was the outstanding breakfast. They offered a variety of tasty options, including vegetarian dishes, ensuring everyone's satisfaction.

I recently stayed at Hotel Aranjuez for a few nights while exploring San Jose. The hotel had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making me feel right at home. The room was nicely furnished and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The semi-outdoor breakfast area overlooking the garden was a lovely spot to start my day, and the buffet breakfast had plenty of choices, including made-to-order eggs. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quiet location of Aranjuez Hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The comfortable bed and large hot shower made our stay very relaxing. The 24-hour check-out service was a lifesaver for our early morning flight. The airport taxi service was prompt and the driver was excellent. The highlight of our stay was dining at the small adjoining restaurant "11.47". The five-course tasting menu, especially the vegetarian option, was superb and showcased the best of Costa Rican cuisine. We also enjoyed the short walk to the nearby bars and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The hotel had a great location, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. It was also close to downtown attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast was delicious, especially the omelette bar. The hotel's garden and internal gardens were also a nice touch, adding to the pleasant atmosphere.

I really liked the layout of the hotel, with the old houses connected together. The artwork throughout the hotel was amazing and added a unique touch to the overall ambiance. the breakfast buffet was huge, varied, and absolutely delicious. It offered a great selection for guests to choose from. The location of the hotel was also very convenient, with easy access to museums, restaurants, and other attractions in the area. Lastly, the seating areas both inside and outside the hotel were beautiful and provided great spaces to relax and unwind.

It was quite low, which made it difficult to take a proper shower. On the other hand, the evening water pressure was fine.

Super cool building, fabulous neighborhood, unique and funky garden areas, gourmet breakfast above anything seen for hotels of this size, kind and helpful staff, went above and beyond in supporting us.
