Hotel is somewhat dated and could use some renovation, especially in common areas like hallways and elevators. the city area behind the hotel and further into town is not the nicest or safest location.

The location was fantastic, right in the middle of Copacabana and across from the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially at the concierge, arranging tours and tickets for the unforgettable Carnival. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and even surprised me with a cake and balloons on my birthday. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was wonderful. The pool and beach service were also great. We booked cool tours with Max, who was a fantastic tour guide.
