The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the city, as it is very close to the main attraction of the city, Tsarevets fortress. Additionally, it is conveniently located in the old town area, making it easy to explore the historical center of the city.

Some guests have mentioned issues with the cleanliness of the room, such as trash not being picked up daily and limited toilet paper being provided.

The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance of some wonderful restaurants and the main sightseeing of the city. It's also a short walk away from the centre of Veliko Tarnovo, nestled on the hills with a great view of the fortress. The staff were friendly and provided basic amenities in the rooms, including super water pressure in the showers. I also appreciated the balconies and the fact that breakfast was included.

That there was room for improvement in terms of cleanliness.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the Old Town

During our recent stay at Silvestar Family, we were pleasantly surprised by the hidden gem that awaited us in the heart of the Old Town. The hotel's location is simply unbeatable, with just a short stroll to both the historic Samovodska Charshia Market Square and the charming Gurko Street.

While there were a few drawbacks, such as the outdated reception area and the limited breakfast offerings, we believe that Silvestar Family Hotel offers fantastic value for money. With its prime location, comfortable rooms, and helpful staff, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hidden gem in the heart of the Old Town.

Quiet location yet close to attractions. Well-equipped rooms with comfortable beds and nice views. Breakfast was satisfactory with various options to choose from.

Limited parking. Some areas of the hotel were not as clean as they should be, particularly the bathroom drain.
