We received great value for our money at 1842 Bed & Breakfast. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated in period furnishings. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore nearby Kitchener/Waterloo/St. Jacobs. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.

One downside of this B&B was the noise from the main road, which could be heard in the morning. This meant we had to keep the windows open, which only added to the noise issue.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had the best sleep ever. the pillows were amazing and I wish I knew the brand so I could buy one for myself. the room was clean and spacious, and I loved the convenience of having a fridge just outside the room with soft drinks and water. the hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and they served a delicious breakfast. I especially appreciated the homemade muffins that they gave us for the road. the experience was charming and relaxing.

The location was not ideal, as there was a lot of road construction in the area. It was also disappointing that there were no shops or attractions within walking distance, and we had to drive a while to find dining options.
