Location suited my ferry plans, though the dated decor didn't impress. Despite glitches, the convenience to my Cape Scott hike made up for the hiccups. The kids absolutely loved the spacious Family Entertainment Room with its fun games and comfy seating.

We all enjoyed the Family Restaurant with its delicious menu and friendly service. Cons: My wife says that adding a small playground for children would enhance the family experience.

I had a pleasant stay at this motel recently. Despite the worn-down appearance, the new owner is making improvements one room at a time. The staff was accommodating, offering take-away breakfast for our early ferry departure. The room had necessary amenities, but blackout curtains would be a nice addition.
