Great base for exploring with easy access to attractions

I loved how easy it was to walk to the strip, being just about a block away, which made visiting popular spots like the Bellagio and the various restaurants nearby super convenient; plus, the room had great amenities like a coffee maker and lots of power outlets. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and the food was both amazing and affordable. However, the restaurant service could use some improvement as our dinner took longer than expected.

I appreciated the lack of residual smoke smell from the casino, making for a pleasant atmosphere. The shower had decent water pressure, though the overall decor felt outdated. Noise levels were minimal, allowing for relaxation. the room was in need of some maintenance, with signs of wear evident. Vending machines and ice machines on each floor added convenience. Room amenities like TV and WiFi worked just fine.

The location is great for walking to the Strip and Venetian center.

Great place! Staff are super friendly and the location is perfect, just a block from the Strip but quieter. Rooms have AC, fridge, and clean bathrooms. The casino is cozy. Restaurants like Front Yard and Village Cafe are awesome. Pool is small, didn’t use it, but looks nice. WiFi worked fine. Very clean and secure.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was still worth it.

First off, the heating and air conditioning in the room were on point. I could easily adjust the temperature to my liking, which was a big plus for me. The sitting area was cozy, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the city. On the flip side, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of garden furniture outside. I enjoy sitting outdoors and soaking up some sun, but there weren't many options for that at the Ellis. In terms of amenities, the mini-bar was well-stocked, and I appreciated the free toiletries provided in the bathroom. I did notice that the carpeted floor could have used a good vacuuming. Housekeeping was a bit hit or miss during my stay. I had to ask for fresh towels and have the trash emptied, which was a bit inconvenient. It would have been nice if they were more proactive in keeping the room tidy. One thing I did enjoy was the tours and ticket assistance offered by the hotel. It was super convenient to be able to book activities and get recommendations from the friendly staff. the Ellis has some room for improvement, especially in terms of housekeeping and outdoor seating options. the location and helpful staff definitely make it a decent choice for a stay in the area.

No kettle or microwave in the room is disappointing, and the lack of proper amenities left me wanting. It's a mixed bag—great location and value, but not without its quirks.

I had a terrible experience with the staff—super rude and unhelpful! When I asked for a simple room cleaning, it turned into a huge hassle. It's frustrating when you just want some basic service during your stay. Never again!
