This hotel exceeded our expectations in several ways. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Secondly, the rooms with 2 queen beds were nicely furnished and had a cheerful ambiance with the large windows. Additionally, the location of this hotel was ideal, just a few steps away from everything we wanted to see in the area. And lastly, the breakfast included a small but delicious smoothie and ample amounts of chocolate, which was a delightful treat to start the day.

This charming inn is centrally located, right in the heart of the village and near the picturesque lake. It offers easy access to local restaurants open for dinner and provides a perfect home base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and surprisingly modern for an old building. The friendly staff provide excellent service, and the delicious breakfast options, including French toast drizzled with decadent dark chocolate, are a highlight. The inn also offers amenities such as air conditioning, a lounge/games room, complimentary bikes, and convenient free parking.

The lack of on-property parking may be inconvenient for some guests, as the available street parking is uphill and a block away.

The complimentary chocolate and warm welcome from the hosts were a fantastic touch and immediately made us feel at home. The location of the inn was perfect, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. We also appreciated the clean and comfortable rooms. One of the best parts of our stay was the delicious breakfast that was included, especially the assortment of chocolate items.

The inn was located on a busy street, which led to some noise disturbance at night. there were no elevators available, which may be challenging for guests with mobility issues.

Auberge La Chocolatiere North Hatley exceeded our expectations in several ways. the prices were incredibly reasonable for what we received. Secondly, the attention to detail throughout our stay was impeccable. From the beautifully appointed rooms with the Jacuzzi and two queen beds to the nice little touches like ample chocolate and a small but delicious smoothie at breakfast, it was clear that the hotel went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Speaking of breakfast, the inclusion of chocolate in the menu was an absolute delight. The morning started off on a sweet note, setting the tone for a wonderful day ahead.

The location of the Auberge was amazing, with easy access to antique shops, restaurants, bars, and the waterfront. The proximity to essential amenities like the grocery store, post office, and pharmacy was very convenient. As guests with disabilities, we appreciated the park and green area across the street, perfect for leisurely strolls. The hosts were fantastic, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast options were delicious, with a variety of fruits and great coffee. The common room with a pool table and comfortable seating added to the overall enjoyable experience.

Felt completely satisfied, no complaints.

Breakfast was amazing - toasted brioche with fresh fruit, maple syrup, and a fruit smoothie. The restaurant across the street had a lovely atmosphere by the lake and river, with small boats and canoes passing by. The inn had a family-run feel with friendly service. Our third-floor room was spacious, nicely furnished, and had a beautiful lake view. Easy public parking in front.

We got amazing value for our money at Auberge La Chocolatiere. The room was perfect, and the attention to detail from the owners and staff made our stay even better. The location was great, with nice walks around the town, and the staff treated us like royalty.

The breakfast selection could have been improved with more variety.

The staff at Auberge La Chocolatiere are incredibly accommodating and go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. I spilled some coffee on the bedspread and they handled it with grace and understanding. The rooms are cozy and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The highlight of my stay was the delicious and beautifully presented dinner, along with the assortment of desserts and amazing chocolate. I highly recommend this hotel!

Charming inn, central location for cycling. Room 311 had a comfortable bed and great view. Delicious breakfast included. Friendly staff. Will return.

We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the little chocolate-themed touches all around. The free sliver of chocolate upon arrival made us feel special. The spacious room with indoor/outdoor carpet was perfect for our winter stay. The hosts were friendly and made us feel welcome in both English and French.

Felt very well taken care of, no reason to complain.
