I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Chocolate Lake Hotel for a small 18th birthday celebration and family swim night. The staff was great, always helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of Chocolate Lake. The pool and hot tub area was a hit, especially with the extended hours until 11pm. The food in the restaurant was fabulous and reasonably priced. I also appreciated their pet-friendly policy, with no trace of pet urine smells in the room.

We loved the beautiful view of Chocolate Lake and enjoyed swimming in it. The staff were friendly and attentive. The fitness room and pool were great amenities for both adults and children. We also enjoyed the delicious and reasonably priced food in the restaurant.

I recently stayed at a hotel just outside of downtown Halifax, right beside a charming little lake. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the included breakfast. The staff were friendly and attentive, and our room with a king bed had a fabulous view of the lake. I was pleasantly surprised by the basic amenities provided, and with the location around the lakefront, we were able to relax and even take a swim in the lake.

All in all, our stay at this hotel was just ok.

The location of this hotel is great, right next to the lake with a stunning view from some of the rooms. It's also an easy downhill walk to the bus station and close to all downtown amenities. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was a nice touch, with a good selection of food to choose from.

The service at this hotel was lacking. There were issues with the air conditioning and fridge, and we had to switch rooms due to these problems.

Got complementary coffee and water bottles in the room. the hotel's location was convenient as it was close to several landmarks we wanted to visit. the breakfast had good coffee.
