We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is perfect-central and easy to get to everything. Plus, it's just across the street from a grocery store and a liquor store, which is super convenient. And if you want to explore downtown, it's all within walking distance.

I recently stayed at Best Western in Courtenay for a weekend getaway. The new wing was impressive, with super comfortable beds and surprisingly quiet rooms, despite being close to a major street. The staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating. The bathroom shower had great water pressure and the towels and bedding were nice. The hotel's location was perfect, and the breakfast served was excellent. Having a restaurant attached to the hotel was a bonus too.

They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, even changing us to a room with a larger bathroom and providing a cot for our foster son. The amenities were top-notch, with a swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi available for guests to enjoy. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a flat-screen TV, refrigerator, and microwave.

Although our overall experience was great, there were a few minor inconveniences. The breakfast service was a bit slow and sometimes the food arrived cold.

Room had microwave and kettle for self-catering, great for traveling with teenagers. Pool and hot tub were nice, but limited slots available. a pleasant stay for a night in this area.

The room we stayed in was absolutely huge with two sliding doors and a patio that ran the entire length of the room. We were pleasantly surprised by the 50-inch TV and the comfortable chair and love seat, which provided us with great entertainment options when we connected our phone for Netflix and Shomi. The bathroom was fantastic with two shower heads and a jet tub right next to the bed. We also appreciated the friendly staff, delicious buffet breakfast, and the complimentary Globe and Mail newspaper. The black-out drapes were a nice touch as well.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the clean, quiet rooms and comfortable bedding at Best Western. The WiFi was powerful and the TV was just like ours at home, making it easy to relax after a long day. The on-site restaurant, The Westerly, served excellent food. We also enjoyed the convenience of the small shopping mall attached to the hotel, which had a couple of brew pubs. It was great to have a place to grab a drink or a meal without having to leave the complex.

Felt well taken care of, no complaints whatsoever.
