We found Birch Cliff Lodge to be a great value for our money, with a clean and cozy room that exceeded our expectations. The location by the lake was perfect, and we enjoyed stunning sunsets and beautiful views. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.

The hotel breakfast could use improvement with more variety and options.

My family and I recently stayed at Birch Cliff Lodge and had a fantastic time. The location of the resort, right by the lake, was perfect for enjoying the beautiful views and sunsets. The cottage we stayed in was very clean and well-maintained, with soft and fluffy towels provided. The resort also offered complimentary canoes for us to use on the lake, which was a great bonus. The resort store was well-stocked and reasonably priced, and we were thrilled to find they carried Kawartha Lakes ice cream for a special birthday celebration. The atmosphere at the resort was warm and friendly, with helpful and kind people all around. We also appreciated the close proximity to Algonquin for a day of hiking. our experience at Birch Cliff Lodge was wonderful and we highly recommend it.

I had an amazing experience at this heavenly resort on Baptiste Lake. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even when we arrived late for check-in. the cabin we stayed in was clean and cozy, and we even got upgraded to a larger cabin free of charge due to some maintenance issues. the resort is beautifully maintained, and the views of Lake Baptiste from the Adirondack chairs on the lawn were breathtaking. We also enjoyed using the complimentary canoes on the lake and the convenience of having a well-stocked resort store. the owners were friendly and made us feel right at home. a truly 5-star experience.

During our stay at this lovely family resort, we were pleased with the clean and well-maintained cottage. The Shady Nook had a private deck and the perfect location nearest to the lake. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the owner was even working the front desk. The resort offered complimentary canoes and had a well-stocked store. The views of Lake Baptiste were breathtaking, especially during the incredible sunsets. It was great to see a family-owned resort still thriving.

The queen bed in the larger room was uncomfortable and in need of a new mattress.
