I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. the location is perfect - situated in a lovely village with beautiful gardens and outdoor seating. It added a touch of tranquility to my stay. Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. Lastly, the basic amenities provided were more than sufficient for my needs. The rooms, although fairly basic, were clean, comfortable, and had good curtains that blocked out any unwanted light. The breakfast, although lacking fresh coffee, was still enjoyable and included a tasty fresh fruit salad alongside the cooked option. this hotel offered good value for money and I would definitely consider staying here again.

The pub where we checked in had a great atmosphere, with coal fires and friendly staff. The cottage style accommodation was a nice touch, providing privacy and a private car park. The room itself was spacious and clean, with a hot bath and comfortable beds. The breakfast served in the restaurant was delicious, with fresh local produce and friendly service. The staff, especially Glen and Jack, were incredibly helpful and made our stay enjoyable.

the rooms were clean, well-maintained, and provided a quiet spot for a good night's sleep. the young gentleman who checked us in, served dinner, and tended the bar was exceptional. He promised to take care of us, and he truly delivered excellent service throughout our stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the gluten and dairy-free options available for both breakfast and dinner. the room itself was beautiful, with a comfortable queen bed and a view of the garden and carpark. Having tea and coffee in the room was a bonus, and they even provided lactose-free milk. a great experience.

Great food and friendly pets policy. the restaurant provided delicious meals and allowed pets which was convenient for us. the hotel was in a perfect central location, with easy access to the main attractions.

Poor communication and lack of care. the hotel didn't offer a fair solution nor did they provide an apology or thoughtful follow-up.

We had a great value for our money at Rockingham Arms in Wentworth. The room was cozy and the staff treated us like old friends. The location was convenient for our activities too.

The breakfast menu could use some improvement, especially in terms of the coffee options.

We stayed in a separate block over the road from the pub, which provided a quieter atmosphere. The location was convenient, being close to main motorways but still in a rural area. We enjoyed having drinks in the beer garden, which offered a pleasant experience. The staff provided helpful information about the area and gave us tips on what to see. Breakfast was nicely presented and the shower in our room was excellent.
