The garden outlook, hens, and owners' dogs and cat created a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere. Anthea, the host, was very helpful and provided great insights about the local area and even helped with planning our trip to Vancouver. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, with good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of natural ingredients and fresh eggs.

Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of choices. the room was clean and cozy. the location was perfect, with walking distance to the water and park, and plenty of dining options nearby. the host was friendly and gave us great recommendations for hikes and walks in the area.

The only downside was the pillows, we didn't find them very comfortable.

We also loved being able to relax with a cup of tea in the peaceful back garden.

The owner was really friendly and gave me great tips for exploring Nanaimo and Vancouver. She even helped me get a discount on whale watching tickets and I had an amazing time seeing lots of whales. The bedroom was spotless and had a lovely view of the garden. The breakfast was absolutely delicious too! Definitely the best place I stayed at during my trip in Canada.

While the bathroom was not attached to the room, it was dedicated to me, although it felt a bit strange having to leave my room to access it. Additionally, there was no air conditioning in the room, but with the shaded garden and provided fans, I was able to stay comfortable during the hot summer nights.

Superb breakfast with delicious options like poached eggs on avocado toast and hollandaise sauce, granola, yogurt, and fruit. Anthea, the hostess, is considerate and welcoming. The house is spotless, cozy, and bright with tastefully updated decor. Lovely back deck and garden area.
