Fantastic courtyard for relaxing and roasting marshmallows.

During my stay, the noise levels were unexpectedly loud. I could hear conversations from neighboring rooms and the hallway quite clearly, which disrupted my sleep. Additionally, the bed was too firm for my liking, making it uncomfortable to rest well throughout the night.

the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and the boardwalk. staff were super helpful and friendly. parking was free and pretty convenient. rooms were clean with a modern vibe. a fun stay!

The hotel is clean and well-located, but bring ear plugs—noise travels easily. Outdoor fire pits were a great touch! 🔥

The outdoor fire pits were such a lekker touch for us to chill with a few drinks, ja! The staff were super friendly, like chatting with your chommies. Our room was clean and smelt proper, almost like a new car! Seriously, the coffee was some of the best we’ve had on our travels, boet!

Only thing is, the stairs should be a bit brighter, especially for the older folks, ag man!

You won't want to miss the beautifully renovated rooms. The outdoor fire pits are perfect for chill evenings. The staff went above and beyond, making us feel so welcome during our quick getaway!

The only downside? Everything really shined.

The room was freshly renovated with a fab rainfall shower and solid water pressure. Super cozy location—everything's within a stroll. Who doesn't love a firepit, even if I was too roasted from the walk to enjoy it?

The price was a tad steep for one night, probably due to peak season. Plus, that street noise? I expected to hear a marching band, but it wasn’t as bad as feared—thankfully no symphony shows up at this hour!

Our stay at Colonial Hotel & Suites was like finding the last slice of pizza at a party—unexpectedly delightful! Chur, the staff were heaps friendly, but our room felt pretty cramped and not so secure. Sweet as fire pits outside made for a nice touch though!

The Colonial Hotel & Suites was a delightful getaway! With a well-maintained outdoor fire pit area, we enjoyed evenings chatting under the stars. The room was spotless and comfortable. It was a quick walk to the beach and dining spots. Every morning, we appreciated the free wi-fi, making it easy to stay connected during our trip.
