the new dorm at dalhousie university was excellent. the rooms were clean and had all we needed. the common kitchen was big and well-equipped. it exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay there again.

The price of the room was really reasonable and within my budget. The old building had a certain charm to it and I appreciated its character. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, which made my stay more enjoyable. The location was also great, being in a quiet area but still close to key attractions. The free on-site parking was a huge bonus as it saved me the hassle of finding parking elsewhere. Lastly, the rooms were basic but clean, which is exactly what I was looking for.

As a single lady traveling alone, it was a little intimidating to shower in a room shared with men. I understand that it was mentioned that the shower facilities were shared, but I feel that it should have been clarified that gender-neutral was the only option.
