We had a wonderful stay at Douglas Guest House. The staff were welcoming, and maintenance promptly fixed our TV. The room was spacious, with a kitchenette and couch, plus two TVs. The breakfast provided was fantastic, with a menu to choose from and delicious options. The neighborhood was lovely, with plenty of businesses nearby and a great area for a walk. Highly recommended!

douglas guest house was a lovely find in vancouver. convenient location and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. the room was tidy, breakfast delicious, and bed comfy. exceeded expectations!

Wifi was unreliable.

This hotel is great value for money, with reasonable prices for a room with kitchen facilities. Located in a pleasant traditional neighborhood, it's situated on a lovely quiet street but still provides easy access to the train into the city. The staff at this hotel were friendly and provided excellent service. The basic amenities provided in the room, including a private bathroom with above ground windows, were all clean and well-maintained. Additionally, the breakfast included was a nice touch and had a good variety of options.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with plenty of food shops, restaurants, and transport options nearby. It was also within walking distance to the city center, which was very convenient. the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more pleasant. the room I stayed in had a small kitchen area with coffee amenities, and the bathroom had good shower pressure with hot water.

The only small issue I had was with the soap provided in the shower. I would have preferred bar soap instead of liquid soap.
