We had a fantastic time at this place! The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views right by the lake and up on the hill. The waterfront setting was perfect for enjoying outdoor activities like boating, fishing, and nature walks. The hotel's service was top-notch, with room service always delivered promptly and the staff being friendly and courteous. The amenities were fantastic, with a spa and wellness center that offered a wide range of treatments, including massages and facials. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools were a highlight, providing a relaxing and refreshing way to unwind. We also loved the BBQ facilities, which allowed us to enjoy delicious meals al fresco.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to everyone.

We had a lovely getaway at Elmhirst's Resort. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly. Our deluxe cottage was clean and had a fabulous deck with a beautiful view of the lake. The resort property was well-maintained and offered enjoyable activities like hiking, horseback riding, and swimming in the pool. The meals, especially breakfasts, were delicious. We had a phenomenal stay with stunning lake views from the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The fully equipped kitchen and cozy fireplace made our evenings in Ontario's cold nights a delight. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing us with an early check-in and lots of firewood for the fireplace. The resort offered plenty of activities, ensuring we had a relaxing and enjoyable time. The location was also ideal, with easy access to nearby towns/cities for dining options or exploring.

The fully stocked kitchen was really convenient and the wood for the fireplace was a nice touch. the surroundings were lovely with animals around the property and the location was well positioned for activities.

The hot tub and change rooms could use some updates. the water level was low in the hot tub and the paint was peeling off the walls.

The cottages were rustic but had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. the lake-facing view, private dock, and deck were delightful. We loved grilling our meals on the gas grill provided. the resort offered plenty of activities to keep us entertained, especially for the young ones. Being able to unwind and enjoy outdoor activities like fishing, cycling, and nature walks was a great escape. the location was fantastic, just a short drive away from neighboring towns with plenty of dining options. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway.

Communication from the resort could have been clearer, but they were quick to resolve any mix-ups that occurred. the cottages could benefit from some updates, especially with the door/key locking systems.

I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel and had a fantastic time. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by trees and right on the water. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The room had all the amenities I needed, including a sitting area, terrace, and dining table. The hotel also had great facilities, such as a restaurant and bar/lounge area. The outdoor swimming pool was a highlight, especially with the beautiful views. this place was a great choice for a small family gathering to celebrate a special occasion.

Although the hotel had many positive aspects, there were a few minor inconveniences. The swimming pool didn't really inspire anyone to go swimming, and it was a bit overchlorinated.

We had a fantastic time during our Christmas stay at this resort. The waterfront location was absolutely stunning, and having our own dockyard was a major plus. The 3 bedroom cottage we stayed in was spacious, cozy, and well-maintained. It was perfect for our family gathering. The panoramic view of the surrounding area, especially the beautiful Rice Lake, from the trails on the campus was breathtaking. We loved going for hikes and exploring the nature trails.

That the trails in the woods were not well-maintained. The bushes were overgrown and made it difficult to hike through.
