Stayed at Gillies By The Sea Apartment And Suite for 4 nights. The apartment had a separate bedroom, kitchen, and nice bathroom. Delicious and generous breakfast. Catherine and Frances were incredibly hospitable and helpful, offering recommendations for events and restaurants. Stunning sunset view of Port Hood harbor from the deck. Clean and comfortable accommodations. Lovely hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Immaculate room with large windows facing the bay. Soft and comfortable bed. One of the top Cape Breton experiences.

Incredible value for money, the room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful sea-view. The location was perfect for exploring the stunning coastline. The staff were attentive and made us feel like family.

gillies by the sea apt exceeded my expectations! the owner was super friendly, gave us a tour, and the place was clean & comfy. loved the seafront location with amazing sunset views. the owners gave great tips & we had interesting conversations with other guests. a perfect short stay.

I had the most incredible time at this outstanding B&B. Catherine and Francis, the owners, made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. They recommended a fantastic concert and even joined us, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the local culture. Travelling with our children was a breeze as they loved staying there, and Catherine's breakfast was simply unbelievable. They also helped me out when I forgot my charger by sending it to a convenient pickup location. Don't miss the opportunity to stay here!

We especially enjoyed watching the sunset and gazing at the stars from the deck. the breakfast provided was delicious and filling, giving us a great start to the day. the location was perfect for us, as it allowed easy access to picturesque cycling trails with spectacular views.
