No AC, just noisy fan.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the comfortable rooms with rocking chairs outside. The on-site bar with a free welcome drink was a great way to unwind. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The outdoor area with hammocks and a small pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of activities.

During my Easter holiday, I had a memorable time in a hostel. the hostel is located in a bustling area with easy access to shopping centers and restaurants. I also enjoyed the friendly staff who made my stay feel homey and comfortable.

There were some downsides to my experience as well. the private room was not up to par, with outdated decor, a poorly functioning shower, and thin walls.

The location of this hostel is fantastic, right in the center of town, making it easy to go to the park or explore the surrounding area. it is really near from the Arenal volcano, providing a great opportunity to visit the park and witness its beauty firsthand.

my second stay in la fortuna was amazing - this time at a budget-friendly hostel. the staff spoke great english, made me feel at home, and helped with everything i needed. the location was perfect, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. the pool and bar were also great for relaxing.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
