The Grand Tappattoo Resort, Ascend Hotel Collection provided a relaxing and enjoyable stay for me and my family. The beach and water sports equipment were a hit, especially the canoes. The rooms, although small, were clean and had a nice balcony. The resort has undergone improvements since our last visit 20 years ago, including a larger property and beautiful sunsets. The staff were attentive and helpful, addressing any issues we had promptly.

As for a specific situation, we did experience a minor inconvenience with the air conditioning in our room. We called the front desk and were told someone would come to look at it, but unfortunately, no one showed up.

I had an amazing time at this resort! The lake was so peaceful and the beach was clean. I loved the free use of canoes and kayaks - such a fun way to explore the water. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The grounds were well-kept, and the views from the balcony were stunning. Although the rooms had a rustic feel, they were still comfortable. The indoor pool was a great option when the weather got cooler. a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

All was almost perfect!

The resort is a fantastic spot for families with children. the beach area and playground offer a variety of games, equipment, and watercraft to keep children entertained. the staff is helpful and accommodating to guest needs. the resort's peaceful location near the rail lines provides a glimpse of the importance of railways in modern Canada.

The air conditioner was ineffective, and although we complained to the front desk staff, it could not be fixed. the house phones were also out of order, making it difficult to communicate with hotel staff or each other.

I recently stayed at the Grand Tappattoo Resort in Otter Lake for a quick weekend getaway. The resort exceeded my expectations in every way. The grounds were spacious with a beautiful beach, and the water toys provided endless fun. The accommodations were fantastic, with each unit offering a stunning water view and a spacious room with a balcony. The indoor pool and sauna were a nice touch, and the game room with retro arcade games was a bonus. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the included breakfast was delicious. a perfect stay and I will definitely be back.

The amenities at this resort were fantastic! The pool provided a refreshing way to cool off, and there were plenty of boats available for lake exploration. The beach was lovely and perfect for swimming. As a budget traveler, I really appreciated the variety of activities offered without breaking the bank.
