Great location for exploring Halifax's downtown area.

My heater wasn’t working properly, and despite staff attempts to fix it twice, it remained cold in my room. This was particularly frustrating during February in Nova Scotia, when warmth is essential. Additionally, the power outage on my second day meant I couldn't use the hairdryer or enjoy the swimming pool, which was closed earlier that night. The parking charge also felt unwarranted for such a troubled stay.

The breakfast was amazing, really exceeded my expectations! Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay. Location was perfect for city exploration, very friendly atmosphere.

I loved the excellent location, which allowed me to walk easily to three fantastic restaurants right across the street. It was great to grab an Egyptian meal, Japanese breakfast coffee, and enjoy late-night sushi without any hassle. The comfy seating areas were a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the city.

One issue was the lingering noise in the hallways late at night, which was occasionally disruptive.

i almost could overlook the fact that my king room didn’t even have a king bed, but alas, i couldn’t receive a room upgrade either! im really shocked they couldn’t put more effort into making my stay a tad more luxurious.

the hampton inn was a cozy spot with really clean rooms. the location was perfect for visiting nearby attractions. i loved the included breakfast, which had a great variety, and the friendly staff made our stay even better. plus, the indoor pool was an awesome bonus for relaxation.

The room was lovely with two comfy queen beds, great charging options, and a lovely fridge. Plus, the view from Room 1626 overlooking the Citadel was a delightful surprise. It's a super convenient spot for grabbing meals nearby, too!

But honestly, what’s with the elevator drama? Waiting ages for a ride was more stressful than my workout routine!

Had a lovely stay, but the cleaning was a bit subpar with hair left from the last guest. Super friendly staff though, they sourced honey for me when I was feeling crook.

Staff were super amazing—quick to change my room when I asked for a higher floor. Got a lekker little upgrade with a partial ocean view! Loved the comfy bed, and 24-hour coffee made things nice and easy to kuier at any time.

Brekkie was a bit average—great selection, but the sausage patties were poor quality. Could've used a bit more effort there.

Decent stay, could be better

Had a simple room that was clean, which was good. Breakfast was fine – they kept things stocked and had a few options. But the front desk could be better. I waited a while to get fresh towels. Location was nice for checking out the waterfront and Citadel, so that was a plus.
