The rooms are spacious and cozy, with charming rustic furnishings that add to the overall ambiance. Guests can also enjoy a delicious breakfast served by friendly and attentive staff.

Some guests have mentioned that the walls of the rooms are a bit thin, allowing for noise from neighboring rooms to be heard.

Heather Lodge exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money. An amazing way to start the day, with a fantastic view from the room. the warmth of welcome from Maria & James, along with the facilities provided and the quality of food, made for a wonderful week. Staying somewhere without any hassle and the freedom to come and go as you please was truly enjoyable. Situated in the beautiful wilderness of forests and lakes, close to national parks, this place is a true gem. the view from the room overlooking the lake is breathtaking. the homemade food by an excellent chef is a highlight. the staff are helpful and the wildlife is abundant. This place is truly fabulous.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming lodge nestled in the scenic Haliburton Highlands. The location was perfect, situated on lush green grass near the sparkling waterfront. It was a great balance of being close enough to town for convenience, yet far enough out to enjoy the peacefulness of nature. The room was beautifully appointed with all the necessary amenities, and the bathroom was immaculate. The staff provided exceptional service, making me feel welcome and cared for. The breakfast served each morning was delicious and satisfying, truly the best way to start the day. The view from the property was breathtaking, with the opportunity to relax by the lake and take in the serene surroundings.

Highway noise was disturbing.

They were always available to answer our questions and provide recommendations. the location of the hotel was also great, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. We enjoyed being able to explore the surrounding area and take part in outdoor activities. the food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed a variety of dishes that were expertly prepared and full of flavor.

The hotel rooms were not as clean or comfortable as we had hoped. the bedding and towels were old and worn, and the rooms had a musty smell.

We had an absolutely amazing time at this lodge! the location was easy to find and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the lake was stunning and we had a blast using the free canoes, paddleboards, and kayaks. the highlight of our stay was the delicious 4-course meal we prebooked at the restaurant. For only $55, we enjoyed a gourmet feast with beautiful presentation. the breakfast was equally as delightful. the room was nice and clean, and the view from our window was breathtaking. Maria and James were so accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be coming back to this hidden gem!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy lodge nestled in the wilds of forest & lakes. The location was perfect, right on the lake, offering breathtaking views from our room. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a clean and well-maintained bathroom. The staff provided excellent service, making us feel welcome and attending to our needs. The breakfast was a delicious feast, with options like scotch cut oatmeal and fresh berries. We also enjoyed the sport equipment available for our use.

The whirlpool could have been cleaner, but it didn't dampen our overall experience.

Spent a delightful Easter weekend in this cozy lakeside lodge. the scenery was stunning, and the food was mouth-watering. the immaculately decorated lakeside suite was equipped with a wood-burning fireplace and all the amenities we needed, including coffeemaker and fridge. the staff were attentive, personable, and helpful, making our stay worry-free. We enjoyed the private sauna and hot tub, which was a great way to relax after a day of hiking. the lodge is located near shops, restaurants, and other attractions, which made exploring the area convenient.

The bugs in the evening were a bit of a nuisance, so make sure to bring repellent. while the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, they appeared to be overworked at times, which, on occasion.

exploring the coast was even better than our last stay. tranquil and cozy location, amazing hosts, and incredible gourmet meals. will make it a yearly tradition!
