I had a fantastic experience at the HI Maligne Canyon! The location was perfect, just steps away from the river. The peaceful atmosphere allowed me to sleep like a baby, with the soothing sound of the flowing river. The property manager warmly welcomed us and provided all the necessary information. The hostel itself was made up of cozy cottages with separate dorms, and the community area and kitchen were conveniently located in the middle. The beds were comfortable, and the price was excellent considering the value we received. Plus, being close to Maligne Canyon was a definite highlight, as it provided a great opportunity for hiking and exploration.

During my recent stay at Hi Maligne Canyon, I had the opportunity to experience the true wilderness and embrace nature at its finest. The location of the hostel, nestled in the midst of a beautiful woodland and right across from Maligne Canyon hiking area, was absolutely perfect for adventurers like me.

Although the lack of shower facilities and running water was a slight inconvenience, I knew beforehand from the ad that this was a wilderness hostel and adapted accordingly. Besides, in just one night stay, it was not a major issue.

Located close to Lake Maligne, this wilderness hostel provides a truly wild experience. Clean rooms and common areas, with warm enough temperatures. No showers, running water, or flush toilets, but this adds to the true wilderness atmosphere. Helpful staff offer plenty of information and recommendations.

Great location, peaceful, by the river. Helpful and friendly owner. Clean kitchen and overall place. Good price value. Close to Maligne Canyon, Jasper city, Medicine and Maligne Lake.

we had a great time at the hostel near the Maligne Canyon hike. it was the perfect spot to enjoy nature and be close to town. the common areas and rooms were clean and cozy, which was important for us coming from a warmer climate. the hostel manager was super friendly and gave us lots of helpful information about the area. we even got to see a bear! overall, it was a true Canadian wilderness experience.

loved our stay at this charming wilderness hostel right next to a scenic creek and Maligne Canyon hike! The cozy common areas and clean, warm rooms provided the perfect retreat after exploring Jasper. The friendly hostel manager gave us great tips and we even saw a bear onsite!

I had an amazing time at the hostel next to the creek, just across from the Maligne Canyon hike. The common areas and rooms were clean and cozy, perfect for escaping the Canadian cold. Plus, we even spotted a bear on the premises! the hostel offered a true wilderness experience while still being a short drive away from town.

the hostel in jasper was great for our day tour. the location was perfect, right by the beautiful park. the 6-person rooms were considerate and the basic kitchen was handy. a pleasant stay, no frills needed.

I loved falling asleep to the soothing sound of the nearby river, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. One of the best parts was the proximity to Maligne Canyon, a stunning hiking destination.
