The location of the hotel, situated just off the cove, offers breathtaking views of the ocean and the chance to observe passing whales. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with hammocks for relaxation. The staff is friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to meet guests' needs. The food is delicious, especially the zebu with green pepper sauce, and the breakfast is satisfying. Guests have access to snorkeling gear, kayaks, and a natural pool.

It would have been better if there was a sandy beach directly accessible from the hotel.

We had an incredibly memorable romantic escape on this island. the beautiful views of the coast combined with the charming bungalows created a truly peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed the mouth-watering food and the warm hospitality of the staff. One of the highlights was waking up to a delicious breakfast overlooking the ocean and having easy access to the nearby natural lagoon. the lush greenery surrounding the hotel made for the perfect location to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Honestly, there really aren't many negatives to mention. the only downside was the remote location, which made it a bit challenging to get to.

The natural pools at the lodge were absolutely phenomenal, making for a truly unique experience. The staff and owners, Peggy and Marc, provided a level of hospitality that exceeded our expectations. The food was nothing short of heavenly, with a delicious blend of local and international cuisine. Despite the water pressure being a little low, our stay at Samaria Lodge was truly incredible. The attention to detail and exceptional service made it a memorable vacation. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly unforgettable experience.
