The location of the hotel is not ideal, with a mentally unwell man often stationed right in front of the hotel doors, insisting on money. This made us feel unsafe, especially with the presence of other questionable individuals hanging around across the street. However, the room itself was excellent. It was spacious, clean, and had a simple yet elegant design. The bathroom lacked ventilation but was otherwise satisfactory. The staff was generally nice, particularly the night and early morning receptionists. Unfortunately, the breakfast left much to be desired, with limited options and no toaster for bagels. On the bright side, the hotel offered a mini-store where you could purchase necessities, and the view from the room was remarkable.

The AC in the room was a bit too loud, which could be bothersome for light sleepers.

The hotel amenities were superb with car hire, dry cleaning, and grocery shopping service available. I particularly enjoyed the clean and soundproofed rooms with terrace and sitting area. The amenities like refrigerator, microwave and flat-screen TV were a definite plus.

The breakfast was not the greatest. No place to sit to eat. Swimming pool was still closed. Our room was not maintained during our stay…no maid came in to make the beds or clear the garbage or bring fresh towels. Parking was never available. We had to pay for our own offsite. Loud, cold fan blowing when we came off the elevator on the 8th floor.

The location was good for walking to shops, restaurants, and attractions without being too much over budget. the room and the bed were very comfortable.

We enjoyed a spacious and comfortable king room with great amenities, including a fitness center and pool. Despite a minor issue with our bathroom sink, overall our stay was excellent. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring downtown Ottawa, museums, and galleries. we highly recommend Holiday Inn Express.

The room was super comfy with great AC and a big TV, perfect for chilling after a long day. The shower was top-notch and the room was spotless, making me feel right at home.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in downtown Ottawa for a few nights. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast that was included was a nice bonus. Despite being in a less desirable location, it was still conveniently located near the main attractions of the city. The room was spacious and had large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The comfortable king bed and the option of two different pillows made for a restful sleep. The bathroom was clean and the stand-alone shower was a nice touch. a great experience that I would recommend to others.
