Had an excellent stay at a hotel near Victoria. We stayed in a junior suite and it was very comfortable. the staff was great and accommodated all our needs. the location was convenient for exploring the area by car. the hotel had a restaurant with good breakfast options. Only downside was the noise from the highway, but requesting a room facing the pool solved that. highly recommend Holiday Inn Victoria - Elk Lake, An Ihg.

We had a wonderful stay at Howard Johnson. The location was convenient, just 10 minutes from downtown Victoria. The hotel rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the beds were phenomenal. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, with lots of great options for walking, such as the lake and gardens. Plus, having bikes available for rent outside the lobby was a nice surprise. we had a great experience.

When we arrived at our room, we discovered dirty and used towels still hanging in the bathroom. The reception staff kindly moved us to a new room, but the incident left a negative impression.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Victoria - Elk Lake for the Elk Lake Triathlon. The room was clean, comfortable, and conveniently decorated. The wood-like flooring and high-grade tiles in the kitchen and bathroom were a refreshing change from dusty wall-to-wall carpets. The front desk staff were friendly, competent, and provided quick and thorough answers to my questions. The hotel's location is perfect, with easy access to the airport, ferries, and downtown. The nearby Elk Lake park and Broadmead Shopping Mall were also great additions to my stay. The pool was a welcome relief on a hot summer day, and the attached restaurant served delicious food at a fair price. They even provided a blanket, towel, and treat bag for my dog.

The beds are super comfortable with pillow top mattresses and great pillows. The Lakeside Gill has outstanding food and friendly service. Convenient pool access for disabled guests.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the ferry, making it easy for tourists to access. It is situated in a suburban area just outside of the city, providing a peaceful and nostalgic atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. The staff is friendly and accommodating, even going the extra mile to bring guests special treats like a big bowl of ice cream for birthdays. The adjoining restaurant also offers good food, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.

There is no DVD/CD player in the rooms, which may be disappointing for those hoping to watch movies or listen to music during their stay.

Stayed at this hotel many times over the years and always found it clean and convenient. the location is great, on the edge of Victoria in a suburban area with easy access to the highway, Swartz Bay ferry, and the airport. We rented bicycles and enjoyed driving up to the Lochside Trail. the staff are very cheery and helpful, creating a welcoming and homey atmosphere. the on-site restaurant serves delicious food with generous portions, and the pool and whirlpool facilities are a nice addition. the room was spacious and the microwave bed was very comfortable. a highly recommended hotel.

Parking included. Clean rooms with nice flooring and high-grade tiles. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Convenient location near the airport, ferry, and natural park. Close to a shopping mall. Perfect for young holiday goers.

We had a great weekend! the restaurant offered a generous breakfast and the beds were extremely comfortable. the hotel’s location was perfect for our needs, close to the competition venue and with easy access to transportation. We also enjoyed the pool which was clean and well-maintained.
