We were warmly greeted at reception and given clear instructions on how our day would unfold. Our room, which we had chosen to be renovated, was a delightful surprise. The comfortable bed and modern bathroom with a rain showerhead made us feel instantly relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed the on-site amenities, including the whirlpool and pool, as well as taking a stroll on the wooden sidewalks to the picturesque falls. We treated ourselves to a bottle of wine and cheese as we admired the beautiful view. The four-course dinner was a true highlight, with excellent food and wine recommendations. The wait staff provided exceptional service throughout the evening. The following morning, we indulged in a delicious buffet breakfast before our rejuvenating massage. The massage therapists, Daniel and Marie-Eve, were skilled and we enjoyed the relaxing nordic therapy afterward. we had a wonderful getaway.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Le Baluchon. The cross-country ski trails were beautifully groomed and perfect for experienced skiers like myself. The hot tub and sauna at the lodge were a great way to relax after a day of skiing. The view from my room was stunning, and being surrounded by nature was a wonderful escape from city life. The staff was friendly and the food in the restaurant exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to come back for another visit.

Located in a picturesque area with beautiful surroundings, this resort offers a great escape from the city. the nature trails and river add to the serene ambiance, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with modern amenities like in-room coffee machines. the on-site activities, such as horseback riding and kayaking, provide a fun and adventurous experience for guests. the resort's commitment to eco-friendly practices adds a sense of responsibility towards the environment.

There were some negative aspects to be noted. the reservation process seemed to be a bit disorganized, with misunderstandings about room types and inclusions.

Spent New Year's Eve in this unique and eco-friendly hotel located between forests and rivers. The outdoor activities such as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing were amazing and the hot tub and sauna in our room were so relaxing after the activities. The meals were a delicious mix of local and fresh ingredients. Definitely recommend trying their homemade maple syrup!

The rooms were a bit outdated and could use a facelift. Also, the staff seemed a bit uninterested during our stay, not giving us any recommendations for things to do in the surrounding area. if you're looking for an outdoor getaway with good food, this is the place for you.
