The Magnolia Hotel & Spa has amazing staff who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We were able to change our stay multiple times and still keep our beautiful corner room with a view of the Parliament building. They were also very helpful in providing transportation and restaurant recommendations. As backpackers, we appreciated their assistance and felt well taken care of during our stay.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with high-quality textiles and a soft decor of grays and white. The bathroom is clean and modern, and the hotel offers amenities such as complimentary water, coffee, and tea in the room. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service and offering suggestions on where to go and what to do in the city. Additionally, the hotel has a fine restaurant, The Courtney, offering delicious dining options and room service.

One aspect that could be improved is the view from some of the rooms.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The location was perfect, right at the city center and just a short walk from the ferry terminal. The hotel was also located in a quiet area, creating a lovely oasis to return to after my whale watching adventure. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities provided were top-notch. I especially loved the complimentary bikes that were available for guests to use. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff made sure I had everything I needed.

The Courtney Room, the hotel's restaurant, was exceptional and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was memorable. The spa was lovely and provided a great way to relax and unwind. The location of the hotel was perfect, located just off the harbor and within walking distance of downtown attractions, restaurants, and pubs. The staff at this hotel were incredible, from the welcoming doormen to the friendly receptionists and even the woman who took my room service order. I felt truly welcomed and free to enjoy my stay.

The massage was exceptional, and the staff provided an impeccable service. The Restaurant serves delicious and diverse cuisine, and the Bar/Lounge area has a cozy ambiance. The room advantages are unbeatable, from the breathtaking view to the pristine white linens. The coffee/tea in the lobby adds a nice touch.

There was only one minor issue; the lack of variety of body wraps in the treatment room.

We had an amazing time at a boutique hotel in a fantastic location. The intimate and luxurious feel made us feel special, and the exceptional Courtney Room and lovely Spa added to the experience. The hotel's attention to detail, like providing an umbrella, was a nice touch. We will definitely return to this no-brainer option in the future.

The hotel's location was perfect, right in the heart of downtown within walking distance to shopping, museums, restaurants, and the harborfront. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and helpful, making us feel at home throughout our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the heart of downtown. The location was perfect, as it was close to all the main attractions and sights in the area. The hotel itself was clean and had excellent facilities, including a renovated restaurant with great staff. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast there. The staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. it was a great experience and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this city.

We were delighted with our stay at the beautiful hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating, even allowing us an early check-in. Our suite on the fifth floor was everything we could have wished for. The housekeeping staff did an impeccable job, ensuring our room was spotless every day. The hotel's location was perfect, just a few blocks away from the main road, making it quiet and peaceful. We could easily walk to all the sights, shopping, harbor, and restaurants in downtown Victoria. The recently remodeled restaurant, The Courtney Room, was absolutely gorgeous. We also enjoyed dining at the 10 Acres restaurant, just across the street. we had a wonderful experience at the hotel and would highly recommend it.

While the hotel exceeded our expectations, there were a few minor issues. We experienced some early morning construction noise and noise from people on the street at night.

The central location was great for exploring the city. The room was clean and had free coffee and tea available. Plus, there was complimentary water and fresh fruit, which was a nice touch.

The service was not up to par. The staff seemed uninterested in helping us and didn't offer any suggestions for sightseeing or dining.
