The hotel in Roddickton was a great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location was ideal for hiking, being close to the town of Conche in the northern peninsula of Newfoundland. The staff provided excellent service, and the basic amenities in the rooms, including a fridge and a wonderful view of the sunset, made for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the very warm blanket on top of the bed, which added an extra touch of coziness to the room.

We had a great experience at the charming inn with a rustic feel. the hardwood floors in the room were a nice touch and felt much more sanitary than carpet. the location was perfect for exploring the nearby interesting towns of Englee and Conche. the staff at the inn were extremely flexible and accommodating, allowing us to have a late checkout when our meeting ran later. the sheets and towels were clean and of high quality, and the room had a warm blanket to keep us cozy in the cold weather. the inn's proximity to the ferry loading dock was convenient for our trip to Labrador. the helpful staff also gave us fantastic recommendations for viewing icebergs along the shore. the self-serve breakfast was good, and they even provided a takeaway cup for coffee. If you miss restaurant hours, the gas bar nearby served delicious poutine and fried chicken. Lastly, when we mentioned needing to freeze our cooler packs for our baby, they gave us a room with a fridge and a breathtaking sunset view. it was a beautiful place to stay.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely incredible - Trevor, Shanna, and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They provided us with invaluable information about the local attractions and were always there to help when we needed it. We were also pleasantly surprised by the well-stocked shop on site, which was a delightful treat. Additionally, our room had a fridge and offered a wonderful view of the sunset, making our evenings even more memorable. Lastly, the breakfast, although in need of a bit of variety, was satisfying and provided a good start to our day.

The hotel could improve on one aspect, but overall, everything was more than satisfactory.

The sheets were crisp and the towels were highly absorbent, making for a comfortable stay. the location of the hotel was perfect, especially if you are planning to take the ferry to Labrador as the loading dock is right behind the hotel. the staff was helpful and friendly, ensuring a pleasant experience.

The walls were fairly thin, so we could hear people talking in the hallway and in the adjoining rooms. This sometimes disturbed our sleep.

Clean and Friendly

The inn was very clean and the staff was friendly. We appreciated the fact that there was a good continental breakfast available and the prices were reasonable. the location was perfect for our needs as it was close to the area we wanted to explore. the complimentary Wi-Fi was a great plus for us.

The lack of a restaurant on-site was a bit inconvenient and we had to explore other dining options in the area. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the inn to anyone looking for clean and friendly accommodations.
