My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Porteau Cove Cabins for a weekend getaway. The log cabin was beautifully crafted and the location couldn't have been better. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we loved exploring the nearby market in Squamish. The best part was the breathtaking view from the porch, providing a quintessential BC experience. We also enjoyed the privacy provided by the hedges between the cabins and the low lying bushes along the beach. Sitting on the patio overlooking the water and mountains, with the sound of a nearby stream, was pure relaxation. And to top it off, the cabin was clean and cozy, and we even had a visit from a family of raccoons.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The cabin was very cozy and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. The view from the cabin was stunning, and the location was excellent. The beach-combing was a fun activity for the kids, and it was easy to maintain distance from other visitors.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

I enjoyed the beautiful location of the cabins, with stunning views of the water and mountains. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind during Christmas. the cabin itself was well-built and cozy, providing a rustic and charming atmosphere. Additionally, the kitchen amenities, such as the barbecue and pots/utensils, were convenient for cooking meals.

There were a few negative aspects to my stay. there were no pillows or blankets provided, which greatly affected our sleep.

We stayed at this charming cabin for a short family getaway. The patio overlooking the water and mountains was absolutely breathtaking. The location directly on the water was perfect, and the cabin had all the comforts of home with a rustic vibe. The limited availability of only two cabins made it feel exclusive. We can't wait to return in the summer with friends!

The cabin itself was clean and tidy, and we were able to easily maintain physical distance from other visitors. Additionally, the cabin was conveniently close to Squamish and Vancouver, and waking up in front of Howe Sound was an incredible experience. The place was tranquil, beautiful, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. it was a cozy and well-maintained cabin with all the necessary amenities.

Wow, what a beautiful location! the cabin was conveniently located near Squamish and not too far from Vancouver, making it easy to explore the area. Waking up with the stunning view of Howe Sound was truly a memorable experience. the cabin itself was cozy and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a sufficiently equipped kitchen for basic cooking. the front deck with a table was a great addition, providing extra space to enjoy the outdoors. Being close to the gondola was a bonus, as it added to the overall convenience.

On the downside, the cabin was a bit small, especially the living space. the layout forced the couch and chair to face the wall instead of the beautiful view, which was a bit disappointing.

Cozy Stay by the beach

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin by the beach. The location was perfect, with easy access to Squamish and Vancouver. Waking up in front of Howe Sound was a truly breathtaking experience. The cabin itself was well-maintained and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen. Although the sink was a bit small and there was a leak, it didn't dampen our overall enjoyment. The tranquil and beautiful surroundings made it a perfect getaway. we would highly recommend this place for a peaceful beach retreat.

We decided to rent a cabin at the Porteau Cove Olympic Legacy Cabins for a change from camping in the campground. What a treat! The cabin was beautifully built, with all the comforts of home. The views of the water were stunning, and we loved how close the cabin was to the beach. The barbecue on the private patio was fantastic, and we enjoyed using it every night. The cabin had a lovely porch with a picnic table and Adirondack chairs, perfect for enjoying the view. We also appreciated the small propane fire pit for the cool evenings. The location of the cabin was amazing, providing a sense of being far away from city life while only being a 45-minute drive from Vancouver. our stay was wonderful, and we couldn't have asked for more.

We highly recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing stay at these cozy log cabins. The value for our money was exceptional, and the cabin itself was beautifully built and had all the comforts of home. The location right on the water and next to a creek was stunning, making us feel a world away from city life. The staff were incredibly helpful, promptly answering any questions we had. it was an unforgettable experience.

The breakfast menu could use a bit more variety.

The beds were comfy, the bathroom was adequate, and the kitchen was a bit small for our large family. The trail around the campsite was wonderful and safe for the kids. The location on the beach was lovely with a covered deck and BBQ. The peaceful setting and nice beaches made for a great stay.

The cabin was a great value for the money, cozy and clean with beautiful beach views. The staff treated us well and the location was perfect for visiting our kids in the park.

The breakfast could have been better with more variety.

The view from the cabin was absolutely stunning, with beautiful beach views and a lovely waterfront location. the picnic table and Adirondack chairs on the porch provided a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Additionally, having a small propane fire pit in front of the porch was a nice touch for chilly evenings.

The ladder to the loft area was extremely steep and could be a challenge, especially for those with mobility issues. the train passing by in the middle of the night was quite loud and disruptive.

The location of the cabin was perfect, right on the water with a beautiful view. the outside patio was enjoyable and provided a great space to relax. the bedding provided in the cabin was nice and comfortable.

The layout of the cabin was quite poor, with very little space inside. the upstairs bedroom was difficult to access at night due to the extremely steep stairs.
