We stayed at the charming Schoolhouse Inn for the last night of our 6-day road trip. The room was beautiful, with great decor and all the comforts we needed. The owners, Eva and her husband, have put so much love and care into the place, and it truly shows. We also had the pleasure of dining at their new cafe, Eva's, which had delicious donuts that are a must-try. The inn is a lovely conversion of a decommissioned school, with spacious and clean rooms, and a delightful hot tub. Eva's warm hospitality made us feel right at home, and we can't wait to return for some homemade Hungarian cooking.

During my Christmas stay, I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful rooms and the cozy ambiance of the hotel. the rooms were new and tastefully decorated, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. the location of the hotel was also ideal, with key amenities just a short 15-20 minute drive away. I loved the convenience of the outdoor barbecue and fire pit, perfect for enjoying some quality time with loved ones.

There were a few aspects that could be improved. there was a bit too much sand in the rooms, making it challenging to keep my shoes clean.
