The rooms were spotless, and the beds were so comfortable with soft sheets and fluffy duvets. We couldn't resist indulging in the delicious homemade breakfast, especially the mouthwatering cinnamon buns and pretzels. The lodge itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. We also loved the spaciousness and the opportunity for the kids to play. The afternoon sun on the deck was the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. Despite being a bit away from town, this peaceful location provided a true retreat. we had a wonderful experience at Smithers and will definitely be recommending it to others.

Additionally, the lack of Wi-Fi in the room and no TV allowed me to truly disconnect and enjoy a peaceful retreat. I highly recommend Driftwood Lodge for a cozy and romantic getaway.
