We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely stunning, right on the lake and in the heart of the Niagara Falls area. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with spacious rooms and common areas. We particularly loved the delicious and varied breakfast prepared by the chef/manager. The staff were extremely personable and helpful, making us feel right at home. Plus, parking was plentiful and convenient. this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it for a perfect getaway in this beautiful city.

Nothing could have been better.

I recently had the most beautiful stay at a gorgeous B&B in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Somerset, as it's called, is a stunning home with meticulous attention to detail and luxurious finishes. The lake-front property offers breathtaking views and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The beds were to die for, and the breakfast served by the attentive host, Kim, was absolutely delightful. The location is perfect, within walking distance to local shops, parks, and historic sites, as well as a short drive to vineyards and farmer's produce stands. If you're traveling with a group, you even have the option to rent all three suites together. I highly recommend the Somerset for a couples getaway or any special occasion in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The breakfasts prepared by the chef/manager were different and delicious every day. the table was set with clean placemats and napkins, and the other guests were all wonderful. We were able to walk to everything in the historic downtown and participate in many events and activities.

The front door was a challenge to open every single time, and even the property manager had trouble with it. Additionally, the property manager was rude, condescending, and hard to get a hold of.

My stay at Somerset - A Private Retreat was absolutely perfect. The Master suite offered the most stunning waterfront view, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast served both days was fresh, creative, and absolutely delicious. I loved the little touches like fresh flowers and complimentary wine, which added to the overall charm of the retreat. Kim, the staff member who assisted us, was not only professional but also very friendly and made us feel incredibly welcome. The location couldn't have been better with popular dinner and ice cream spots just a short walk away. I am already looking forward to my next stay at Somerset - A Private Retreat. I highly recommend this beautiful B&B for a wonderful vacation experience.

I had the most amazing stay at a private retreat in this city. The hotel had breathtaking views of Lake Ontario and Fort Niagara. The location was perfect, as it was away from the mass tourism of the Niagara area, but still close enough to visit. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with beautifully decorated rooms that offered lots of privacy. Additionally, the staff, especially Julie, provided excellent hospitality that made me feel very welcome. The breakfast served was delicious, with homemade muffins and smoothies that were a fantastic start to the day.

Staying at Somerset's Master Suite was a dream come true. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with floor to ceiling windows offering stunning views of Lake Ontario. The bathroom was luxurious, with a stand-alone shower and a separate tub. The service was exceptional, with the host going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast served was scrumptious, and we enjoyed sipping our tea on the private balcony overlooking the park next to the hotel.
