Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I had an amazing time at this B&B. The suite had its own private entrance, creating a sense of privacy. The sitting area was large and led to a spacious bedroom and an incredibly luxurious bathroom. Everything was impeccably clean, and I especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of local short story books on the nightstand. The hotel facilities were fantastic, with a swimming pool and a newly built deck. The hotel was also situated near a beautiful river/creek where I spent hours relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing me with directions and making me feel right at home.

We stayed in a spacious room with a big fridge and enjoyed the quiet rural location of the hotel. The hosts were very welcoming and even offered us homemade wine. The continental breakfast had a good variety of options. We loved hanging out by the pool and the fire by the river in the evening.

The TV with a firestick was a bit confusing to use at first.

south haven, an amazing hidden gem in aylesford, surpassed all expectations. danny and trudy's hospitality was above and beyond - a warm welcome, pool access, fresh corn, and a cozy fire by the river. not to mention the best homemade wine! can't praise them enough - a must-visit hideaway!

We had a fantastic stay at this hidden gem in NS. Our hosts, Trudy and Dan, went above and beyond to make us happy. The B&B was conveniently located close to our family reunion and had excellent parking. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the hospitality was outstanding. We enjoyed spending time with the hosts and their extended family, sharing wine and hanging out on their deck. They made us feel like friends and their homemade wine was a treat. We will definitely be back to this beautiful and welcoming place.

The hosts, Trudy and Dan, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. The breakfast provided was delicious and there were thoughtful touches like local short story books on the nightstand. The property had a swimming pool, a newly built deck, and a peaceful river in the back. It truly felt like a piece of heaven and we can't wait to return.

I was also pleasantly surprised to find a swimming pool and a newly built deck on the property, perfect for relaxing. But what truly stole my heart was the river/creek at the back of the property, where I spent hours unwinding and enjoying the tranquility. The location of South Haven was also ideal, with easy access to the nearby Aylesford Zoo, which I believe is the best zoo in the world in terms of animal welfare and diversity. I can't wait to return to Nova Scotia, and when I do, I will definitely be staying at this lovely place for a full week!
