The location is perfect, easy to travel to other small towns. Neat and clean grounds. Plenty of room in the cottage. Helpful host. Beautiful lake views. Reasonably priced. Excellent fishing.

My stay at the resort was fantastic. The Queen room exceeded my expectations - it was much bigger than the photos on the website portrayed. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional, and the location was perfect for boating. There were various amenities nearby, such as an LCBO across the road, a Foodland supermarket within 700m, and several restaurants within a short walking distance. The beautiful lake and the abundance of activities in the area made for an enjoyable trip.

During our recent stay at Sunrise Resort, we were pleased to find that our cottage was clean, convenient, and had everything we needed. The view was absolutely stunning, with the cottage facing the water directly. We enjoyed having access to a BBQ stove, as well as tables and chairs for our outdoor meals. The resort also provided a small house for us to kill and clean fish, which was a great bonus. It was also nice to have a supermarket and restaurant nearby for our convenience. we found the resort to be a nice and friendly place with a lot to offer.

sunrise resort in buckhorn was a perfect getaway for our date night. the room was spacious, clean, and had a breathtaking view of the lake. the owners, raymond and doris, were kind and helpful. we can't wait to come back!

life jackets and paddles were missing

We had a great time at a beautiful property with full use of paddle boats and canoes. The fishing was excellent and the cottage was nice. We loved that it was dog-friendly, and there were shops within walking distance. It had everything we needed for a long stay and was good value for the money. We especially enjoyed the peaceful and rustic setting, and the host, Alex, was very accommodating. we had a wonderful time at Sunrise Resort.

The grounds of the resort were well-maintained and tidy. The cottage we stayed in was spacious and had more than enough room for us. it was a fantastic experience.
