The check-in process was an absolute nightmare. Upon arrival, there was no one at the lobby, and I had to wait indefinitely until I could get my keys via a remote service. The entire situation felt unprofessional and left me frustrated, especially after a long drive. It really soured my impression before I even got to enjoy my stay.

Halfway there, the motel threatened to give up our rooms. Communication was confusing, and there was no one at the front desk to help with payment issues. This situation was utterly frustrating, and the owner shifted the blame onto us, which was outrageous.

The Bayview Motel offers a cozy atmosphere right by the lake. I enjoyed the clean room with comfortable amenities, and the stunning view made each morning special. Easy access to the boardwalk was a bonus.

On the downside, the check-in experience was a bit confusing as the lobby was closed. The bathroom was snug, and I had trouble with loud noises from other guests at night. A couple more towels would have been nice.

Checking in via text was convenient, but the closed lobby made accessing extra towels challenging. The lake view was stunning, though the thin walls made for a noisy night.

This was just a top selection for a brief retreat in Fort Frances with incredible value for money. The shower pressure was terrific and provided a refreshing start to each day. Make sure to check your email for the self-check-in code as it can be confusing.

The location is fantastic, right on the shores of the Rainy River. I loved the smooth check-in process, especially with ice already in the bucket upon arrival—such a nice touch!

However, the walls are quite thin, and I could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, which disturbed my sleep. Also, the bathroom felt cramped, making it less comfortable.

Just wrapped up an amazing trip with friends! We spent some quality time at the local golf courses, either at The River or Kitchen Creek. The lake views from our room were a highlight, and it was great to unwind after outdoor adventures like hiking and biking.

The room was super clean and cozy with comfortable beds. The shower had great water pressure, which I really appreciated. There were some amenities that made it feel more homey. But I did find the bathroom a bit tight, and it could use a few more towels. The view was nice, but once the cars parked, it kind of blocked it.

Fantastic welcome with helpful staff via text. The cozy atmosphere and well-equipped kitchens made us feel right at home. Would definitely return for the lovely lake views!
