We had an amazing stay at this charming and clean guesthouse. The location was fantastic, within minutes of all the main downtown attractions. It's a great walking neighborhood, with a park directly across the road and a coffee shop just steps away. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a beautiful back patio and well-maintained backyards. The breakfasts provided every morning were delicious, with croissants and pan au chocolate that were simply delightful. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home.

The location of this guesthouse is great, as it is close to downtown and within walking distance of many attractions. It was convenient for me to explore the area and revisit some of my favorite spots from previous visits. Despite being close to the city center, the guesthouse is surprisingly quiet, allowing me to get a good night's sleep and fully enjoy my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, providing everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, who made sure I had a pleasant experience.

The wifi connection on the third floor was unreliable at times, causing slow internet speeds and occasional inability to perform online searches when needed.

We stayed at Elizabeth Manor Guesthouse for 5 nights while exploring the area. The old home was beautifully updated, and our large 1st-floor room was lovely. The owner, Rob, was always available and incredibly friendly, funny, and helpful. The breakfast in the homey kitchen was excellent, and we loved the always available coffee and tea. The attention to detail was impeccable, with top-quality local toiletries and beautiful local art on the walls. Rob went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and provided great suggestions for day trips. Thank you, Rob and Brenda, for a fantastic experience!

elizabeth manor exceeded our expectations during our stay in st. john's. the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was perfect with shops and attractions nearby, and the kitchen was a great bonus for relaxing evenings and breakfasts.

Small inconvenience with shared bathroom.

We recently stayed at a guesthouse in downtown St John's and had a wonderful time. The location couldn't have been better, right across from a beautiful park and within walking distance to all the fun pubs and eateries in town. The room we stayed in was small but cozy and had everything we needed, including a fan to keep us cool at night. We loved having free coffee and muffins in the morning and enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the backyard. The manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all of our questions and making great recommendations for things to see and do in the area.

That we weren't able to use our debit card to pay for our room, so we had to scramble to find a credit card at the last minute. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that this wasn't an option.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, being close to downtown and surrounded by charming cafés for a delightful breakfast. The room was meticulously clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I particularly loved the policy of removing shoes at the entrance, which ensured a clean and hygienic environment. Another highlight was the freshly baked muffins that were provided every morning. They were a delicious treat that added a special touch to my stay.
