The location of this hotel is fantastic, right on the Sunrise Trail and close to shops, a creamery, and a local brewery. It's a great place to relax and explore the area. The unique theme of the hotel, centered around trains, is really enjoyable. The rooms are decorated in a period style, adding to the charm. The kitchenette in the room was modern and convenient, with all the necessary appliances.

That the website provided inaccurate information about the dining options. It stated that the dining car was closed after Labor Day, but I later found out that it was actually open and serving dinner.

Had a fun Xmas stay! Loved the unique experience of staying in a train caboose, it really added to the holiday spirit. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The location was great, with lots of trails to explore and two other nearby restaurants to dine at. It was also nice to have a gift shop on site to find some unique treasures.

There were a few issues that detracted from our stay. The caboose we stayed in had a broken sliding door and a small leak in the bathroom.

Staying in a transformed railcar was a unique experience! Clean with nice features, comfortable beds, and a TV. AC and a tight but manageable shower. Check the season for dining car breakfast. Friendly staff.

Felt more than at home, no reason to complain.

We had a truly unique experience at this charming Inn. Sleeping in the renovated train carriages was a delight for our whole family. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the quaint atmosphere added to the fun. We also enjoyed exploring the largest collection of cabooses in Canada. Definitely worth a visit!

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The unique train-themed accommodation was a memorable experience. The charming gardens and green surroundings gave it an authentic and special touch. All the staff members were polite, caring, and provided excellent service. The vegan meals served in the dining car and the old train station were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. It was great to see such genuine employees who enjoyed working in such a pleasant environment.

The bed was a bit inflexible, which could have been more comfortable. the Wi-Fi signal was unpredictable and sometimes difficult to connect to.

The train theme throughout the property, train-related gifts and decorations in the depot, charming era-specific bathroom, modern kitchenette, helpful and polite desk clerk.
